About the Staff
Nikki DeGeorge Weaver, Au.D.
Dr. Nikki has been practicing Audiology for 17 years and has extensive education and experience in Audiology. She specializes in complete diagnostic hearing evaluations, equilibrium evaluations, and treatment for hearing loss and tinnitus. She has received degrees from University of Florida, Ohio State University, and West Virginia University. In addition, she has spoken at many national and local conventions and at many Universities. Dr. Nikki’s interest in Audiology began when she was a young child because she has two deaf cousins. Her grandmother taught her sign-language from a very young age. Dr. Nikki currently resides in Peachtree City with her husband and their 5 children, including twin boys. In her spare time she enjoys painting, golf, tennis, travel, and the outdoors.
Leslie Neal, Ph.D.
Leslie Neal, Ph.D. has been practicing Audiology for 25 years and has been with Fayette Hearing Clinic since 2008. She specializes in diagnostic hearing evaluations, aural rehabilitation, and hearing aid fittings. Prior to joining Fayette Hearing Clinic, she had a practice in Fort Myers, FL and was faculty at Pennsylvania College of Optometry Doctor of Audiology Program, Ball State University, and Purdue University. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children and spending time with her husband, a local neuropsychologist. She also likes to play Bunko and travel.
Katie McCREERY, Au.D.
Dr. Katie is a graduate of East Tennessee State University’s Doctor of Audiology program, where she received extensive training in all areas of audiology. Prior to that, Dr. Katie received her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia. She has extensive VA experience, and her clinical interests include tinnitus counseling, audiological rehabilitation, and balance testing.
Amanda McFadden, Resident Audiologist
Audiology Extern. Amanda is currently completing her residency at Coweta and Fayette Hearing Clinics through Illinois State University’s Doctor of Audiology program. Prior to that, she received her undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa. Amanda’s areas of special interest include cochlear implants and aural rehabilitation. Amanda likes to travel in her spare time.
Jill Lowther, Au.D.
Dr. Lowther joined Coweta and Fayette Hearing Clinics in 2015 and specializes in adult hearing evaluations, tinnitus therapy, and Aural rehabilitation. Dr. Lowther obtained her Masters in hearing science from the National Centre for Audiology at the University of Western Ontario, and her Doctor of Audiology Degree from the University of Memphis. In her spare time, Dr. Lowther enjoys biking and the outdoors.
Dr. Brittney Tardy, Au.D
Dr. Brittney received her undergraduate degree from James Madison University, and her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Tennessee. Her areas of special interests are hearing aids and cochlear implants. In her spare time, Dr. Brittney enjoys exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains with her rescue dog, Gypsy, and watching Tennessee football.
Tracy Frame, Office Manager and Audiology
Assistant Coweta Hearing Clinic
Tracy grew up in Newnan and has lived there most of her life. She graduated from Georgia State University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing. Tracy has over 17 years experience working with audiologists and has worn hearing aids for several years. She has been with Dr. Nikki since she opened her practice in 2006. Tracy also received her Audiologist assistant Degree in 2007 from Nova Southeastern University. In her spare time, Tracy enjoys camping and spending time with her daughter and husband.
Melanie Orr, Office Manager Fayette Hearing Clinic
Melanie joined Fayette Hearing Clinic in June of 2017 and is in the process of obtaining her Audiology Assistant degree. Melanie enjoys helping others and has volunteered for many years in the community and at her children’s school. She is married with 2 boys, 2 dogs and 2 cats. Melanie is a graduate of the University of Georgia and loves to cheer on the Bulldogs!
Kellie Pitt, Audiology Assistant
Kellie Pitt joined Coweta Hearing Clinic and Fayette Hearing Clinic in late 2011. She has obtained her Audiology Assistant degree and assists with hearing aid follow-ups, hearing air problems, hearing aid education, and wax removals. She enjoys working with adults and has a gift working with those with dementia. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Kristin Tunison, Audiology Assistant
Certified Audiology Assistant and Office Assistant. Kristin Tunison joined Coweta Hearing Clinic in October 2015, after being a stay at home Mom for many years. You will see her at both Coweta and Fayette Hearing Clinics and she will be happy to patiently assist you with your hearing aid questions and problems. She obtained her Audiology Assistant Degree through Nova Southeastern University in July 2016. Kristin enjoys volunteering at her church and her children’s schools in any capacity needed. She is an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
